My fingerstyle arrangement of this beautifully nostalgic piece. I hope you enjoy!
La Paloma arranged for classical guitar, with both sheet music and guitar tab. Enjoy!
I arranged Ryuchi Sakamoto's heartbreakingly beautiful piece, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, for classical and fingerstyle guitar.
A little piece I wrote, not all that long ago, that celebrates those final, waning days of summer, and the feel of change in the air. I'm working on an entire album of original music, so this one is just a taste of what's to come. And if you hear a bit of the Beatles' "Blackbird" in there, you're not mistaken. This song started as an homage of sorts to that early influence in my musical life. I remember it clear as day the first time I heard it on guitar, and I guess it's bounced around in my head ever since.
My guitar arrangement of Hans Zimmer's iconic theme song to Inception.
My arrangement of José Luis Merlin's "Evocación" from Suite del recuerdo, in both guitar tab and standard musical notation. Perfect for beginner to intermediate classical and fingerstyle guitarists. Enjoy!
Detailed left and right hand fingering on both guitar tab and score of "Forces of Attraction" from Johann Johannsson's acclaimed soundtrack to "The Theory of Everything." This is a great beginner and intermediate piece. Enjoy!
Comptine d'un autre été from the Amelie soundtrack has long been one of my favorite pieces for film. So I finally decided to make my own arrangement for guitar! This one has very detailed right and left hand fingering, which you'll want to pay attention to as I've been quite meticulous in making this piece's technical challenges as simple as possible in order to free you up to play it freely and expressively. Enjoy!
This is perhaps one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever used in film. It was both the theme song to "Arrival" as well as in "The Last of Us." This is the complete guitar tab and sheet music to my arrangement of this piece. I hope you enjoy it even a fraction as much as I have.
Shape of My Heart, by Sting and Dominic Miller, is one of the most famous and beautiful guitar intros of all time.
The third movement to Satie's "Trois Gymnopedie," arranged for solo guitar. Enjoy!
Originally arranged for piano, this is my arrangement of Satie's Gymnopedie no.1 for guitar. Enjoy!
My arrangement of the theme song to Succession, with detailed right and left hand fingering! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
John William's classic theme song to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!
This has always been my favorite Christmas tune. And since the holiday is upon us, I thought I'd spend some time making my own jazzy arrangement of it. Enjoy!
Sheet music and guitar tab of this lovely traditional mexican song.
Amores Perros, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, has been one of my favorite films since I first saw it some 20 years ago. It weaves together three different stories of the struggles of life in contemporary Mexico City. The movie's theme song poignantly reflects the darkness of poverty and violence the characters face.
My arrangement includes both the guitar tab and sheet music. Enjoy!
This is my simple arrangement of Bach's "Sleepers Awake" for solo classical guitar. I plan on recording a more complete version of this piece down the road, as it's one of my favorites. But for now, I thought it would be nice to put out this easier arrangement as it is still a beautiful, timeless melody. Enjoy!
"Resonancias Antiguas" is a collection of timeless masterpieces for the guitar, interwoven with original compositions, celebrating the rich Spanish heritage of the instrument. From the works of Albéniz and Tárrega to Walsh’s own pieces, the album pays homage to the guitar’s deep historical roots while offering a fresh, personal voice.
This collection of 15 pieces traces a long and meandering path that has led me around the world and back again. "Classical's Cool" is dedicated to all those who have walked part of that path with me. I would also like to extend a very special thanks to my friend, fellow guitarist, and album co-producer, Christopher Fossto, from CrossCorp Productions, for his invaluable audio engineering expertise. I hope you enjoy listening! Music reminds us of the use of the sublimely useless. The aim of movement is not to go anywhere, but simply to move.
